The interest of the archipelago Kneiss (southeast Tunisia) for wintering or passing birds is well established. This mission allowed to gather information on reproductive component.
During this mission, conducted on 11 to 12 April 2015, 20 species of birds have been observed, including regular nesting species of the islands such as the Yellow-legged Gull, little egret, the Kentish plover. Added to these, there has been wintering species are still present on most of the islands and islets of the archipelago.
