En 2009, l’Initiative PIM a souhaité organiser une mission de terrain sur les îlots du littoral provençal (îles du Grand et du Petit Rouveau à Six-Fours, et île et îlots satellites de la presqu’île de Giens à Hyères), en vue d’améliorer et d’actualiser les connaissances naturalistes sur ces territoires. Une expertise sur l’herpétofaune a été effectuée à cette occasion.
In 2009 the PIM Initaitive decided to organize a field mission on the islands and islets of the Provence coasts (islands of Grand and Petit Rouveau in Six-Fours, and islands and islets surrounding the Presqu’île de Giens, in Hyères), in order to strenghen and update the naturalist knowledge on these territories.
In the framework of this mission, an expertise has been leaded about the herpetofauna.
