In 2013, the Conservatoire du littoral and the City of Six-Fours have pursued the implementation of the action plan for « Eradication of Hottentot Fig on Grand Rouveau island», in the framework of Mediterranean Small islands Initiative. A new campaign has been organized from July 8th to 12th 2013, involving around 40 participants and numerous partners (AGIR Ecologique, CEFE-CNRS, Port-Cros National Park…). Nearly 3.700 m2 of Carpobrotus were hand-pulled (notably on cliff areas).
