ABSTRACT :
The interest of Jerba archipelago (south-eastern Tunisia) for wintering and passing birds is wel known. Nevertheless, the data regarding reproduction have been collected.
During this mission, led from April 07th to 10th, 31 bird species have been observed, notably species nesting regularly on these islands such as yellow-legged gull, slender-billed gull, Kentish plover. Some wintering species have also been recorded, still present on the most part of islands and islets of the archipelago. The presence of Audouin’s gull on Gataya El Bahria is also to mention.
