The most part of Arthropod and Molluscs groups were sampled or observed : Myriapoda, Arachnida (spiders and scorpions), Crustacea (woodlice) and among insects: Coleoptera, Lepidoptera, Orthoptera and neighboring groups (mantids, stick insects …), Odonata and Hymenoptera (Vespidae, Formicidae). 10 new species have been declared new for Albania. The comparison with the Karaburun Peninsula highlights the originality of Sazani settlements. The most urgent measure in term of management would be the protection of the beaches of the island : limiting human attendance, removal of plastic waste, conservation of sea leads.
