In order to benefit from advice and guidance on the scientific, technical and management aspects of the islands, PIM have set up a multidisciplinary and international committee composed by 23 Mediterranean experts, specialists from entomology to international law.

The Advisory Committee is chaired by Prof. Frédéric Médail, of the Mediterranean Institute of Biodiversity and Ecology (IMBE), who wished to establish a wide range of expertise related to island conservation, to feminize this committee and to ensure that it is representative of as many Mediterranean regions as possible. This list was validated by our General Assembly in March 2019.
