CONTRIBUTION A L’ÉTUDE DES ORIBATES (ACARIENS) DE: L’ILE DE PORT-CR10S (PARC NATIONAL)
Résumé : La faune oribatologique récoltée à Port-Cros compte 131 espèces. Les espèces nouvelles, non encore décrites représentent environ 15 à 20 % de l’ensemble.
Les genres Mesotritia, lndotritia, Bursop/ophora, Metabelbella, Pseudotectoribates et Zachvatkinibates sont nouveaux pour la France.
Une faune saxico-arboricole, relativement pauvre et un peuplement halophile trés original sont mis en évidence. Une première approche écologique des communautés d’Oribates des groupements climaciques de l’ile, est tentée.
Summary : CONTRIBUTION TO THE STUDY OF THE ORIBATID MITES (ACARI) OF PORT-CROS ISLAND (NATIONAL PARK). The Oribatid fauna (Acari) collected at Port-Cros amounts to 131 species. New species, not yet described, represent about 15 to 20 % of the total.
Mesotritia, lndotritia, Bursop/ophora, Metabelbella, Pseudotectoribates and Zachvatkinibates are new genus for France.
A fauna of rock and tree habitats, quite sparse, and an original community of sea-shore deposits are put in a prominent position. A first ecological attempt of Oribatid communities of climacic formations of the island, is made.
