Co-management

Jeanne and Nicolas, eco-guards recruited by PIM Initiative in 2024: “Our role is to strengthen surveillance of the Grand Rouveau island and its public maritime domain from May to October. During the summer period, we carry out patrols to raise awareness among pleasure boaters at sea about the fragility of Posidonia seagrass meadows and the importance of preserving them. We also organize biodiversity monitoring missions and oversee the ecological restoration operations set up by Initiative PIM.” Find more information in the 2024 activity report dedicated to the Grand Rouveau island.
